Heavy shield unit

Heavy shield unit

A mechanoid-built projectile-repulsion device. The user can shoot out, but the shield will block shots coming in. This shield only protects the user, not those around them. It does nothing against melee attacks or heat. The shield will break instantly if hit by EMP.

Acquisition

Is worn by some mechanoid commanders when summoned. Diaboli from the 3rd summon, war queens from the 2nd, and apocritons from the first summon.

Not always worn if these mechs appear in regular raids.[Do they spawn?]

Summary

The heavy shield unit creates a shield, like the shield belt, but allows the user to fire out.

It has 400 shield HP, compared to 110 HP from a normal quality shield belt. This results in taking 133.3 damage before it breaks. However, it recharges at 1.3% / second, over 10x slower than a normal shield belt.

Broken by EMP.
