Acquisition[edit]

There are two ways to acquire Vertigo pulse:

  1. A randomly selected level 3 psycast is granted to the psycaster when they gain psylink level 3. Vertigo pulse is one of the options that may be selected. Note that this occurs regardless of how the psylink level is gained.
  2. Vertigo pulse can also be acquired from a psytrainer naming it. See the psytrainer page for further details.

Summary[edit]

Goodwill penalty doesn't apply to lodgers.

Can be used to reveal revenants.Content added by the Anomaly DLC

Analysis[edit]

Despite the seemingly weak effect, vertigo pulse makes enemies stop attacking, they also wander out of cover. This means it can turn the tide of pitched battles, so long as you can clump enemies effectively for targeting and you have enough damage potential to exploit the opening.
