The wastepack atomizer is used to remove toxic wastepacks, and thus, pollution.

Acquisition

Wastepack atomizers can be constructed once the Wastepack atomizer research project, which requires studying a nano structuring chip, has been completed. Each requires Steel 200 Steel, Plasteel 50 Plasteel, Nano structuring chip 1 Nano structuring chips, 30,000 ticks (8.33 mins) of work, and a Construction skill of 8.

Summary

Wastepack atomizers use 800 W of power. They serve to destroy toxic wastepacks in a clean manner.

They only start when loaded with 10 wastepacks, or two full stacks. Each wastepack is destroyed after 30,000 ticks (8.33 mins) or 12 in-game hours inside a powered atomizer, meaning that one needs to be loaded every 5 days. Destroying wastepacks does not create any afterproduct.

Analysis

Requiring 8000 research points, seperate from Ultra Mechtech, to acquire, the wastepack atomizer is restricted to high level colonies.
