The formula for leather yield is 40 * bodysize, with the following post-process curve:

  • (0,0)
  • (5,14)
  • (40,40)
  • (100000,100000)

There are a few exceptions, specifically:

  • Humans have a leather yield of exactly 50
  • Insectoids have a leather yield of 0
  • Chickens and ducks have a leather yield of 0
  • Geese have a base value of 36 * bodysize instead of 40 * bodysize, resulting in a total actual yield of 21 birdskin after accounting for their 0.4 bodysize and the post-processing curve.
