Template:Tocright The User Interfaces are on the main game screen, which features the 'Colony Map'. Each User Interface is either a Button or transparently displayed menu or object.


Button Location Explanation
Architect menu (Orders, Zones, Structure, Buildings, Security, Furniture) [Bottom left corner] Use the Architect menu to place objects, build your base, and control colonist actions (mining, harvesting, etc.)
Resources [Top left corner] This shows how much money, food, and metal you have. Money is used to trade with other ships. Food is needed for survival, and is provided to colonists via nutrient paste dispenser. Metal is needed to build objects.
Overview, Research, Codex, Game Menu [Bottom right corner] The codex is a work-in-progress help tab.
Time speed control [Bottom right corner] using normal, double, or triple speed.
Current time. [Bottom right corner] Days and hours since you have landed.
Current alerts and suggestions [Top right corner] Alerts when colonists are about to go insane, or if they need rescue. Also displays helpful tips.
Debug and modding tools [Top right corner]
Toggle visible of zones [Bottom right corner]
