The ship structural beam is a ship part that connects all other parts, transmits power, and hosts the ship cryptosleep caskets.
Acquisition
Ship structural beams can be constructed once the Starflight basics research project has been completed. Each beam requires 200 Steel, 40 Plasteel, 3 Components, 1 Advanced components, 8,000 ticks (2.22 mins) of work, and a Construction skill of 5.
It cannot be built under a roof, that is at least 5 out of the 12 squares it occupies must be uncovered.
