A flatscreen television that is more entertaining than a tube television, but still 1 tier lower than the megascreen television. Effective in a 5x6 area in front of the object. Seats must face the TV. The flatscreen television has an entertainment strength factor of 140%.

As of 0.19 the flatscreen television can be crafted by colonists with a construction level 8 or higher with 140 steel and 16 components.

Flatscreen televisions placed facing hospital beds can allow recovering pawns to watch TV for recreational purposes. This can be very useful, as the only other option that bed-bound pawns have requires another colonist to talk to them, and joy-less colonists suffer terrible mood penalties.

It requires completion of the Flatscreen television research to be constructed.
