A carnivore fine meal is a variant of the fine meal and is created at an electric stove or fueled stove. It requires 0.75 nutrition from any meat (15 meat) to create. A colonist with cooking skill of at least 6 is required to create this meal. When eaten it causes the +5 Ate fine meal moodlet. All fine meals provides 0.9 nutrition.

Producing a carnivore fine meal requires 0.75 nutrition in ingredients, but produces 0.9 nutrition in results -- an 20% net nutrition gain.

Analysis

Carnivore fine meals can be useful for giving the fine meal moodlet when vegetable ingredients are not available, such as in an Ice Sheet biome. Plants are generally easier to harvest than meat, and carnivore meals are less efficient for nutrition than regular fine meals.

They can also be used to make insect meat useful for colonists that dislike it. The −3 Ate cooked insect meat is counteracted from the +5 Ate fine meal for a net +2 mood buff compared to simple meals. The "wasted" food from making carnivore meals matters little if you wouldn't have used insect meat in the first place. Carnivore lavish meals can be used for a greater mood buff (net +9), but provides less food.

Carnivore meals are especially powerful for cannibal or cannibal ideoligionContent added by the Ideology DLC pawns, as raider corpses are usually so prevalent that the decreased nutritional efficiency is irrelevant, making it an easy mood buff.
