The remaining time of a currently running gestation cycle will update with changes Mechanoid Gestation Speed. If you start a cycle, then install a [[Mech gestation processor]], then the remaining time will be reduced proportionally to the change in Mechanoid Gestation Speed. For example, a Crafting 10 mechanitor has a speed of 100% and a gestation time of 48 hours. If, after 24 hours of a cycle had already passed, they installed 6 mech gestation processor and increased their speed to 300%, the remaining time would be reduced from 24 hours to 8 hours but they'd receive no further time reduction from the 24 hours that already passed at 100% speed.

Mechanoid Gestation Speed modifiers apply retroactively - if you start a cycle, then install a [[Mech gestation processor]], then it will cut the remaining time proportional to the remaining time.
